SALA Resorts and Spas has removed single-use plastics from its bathrooms. SALA Phuket Mai Khao Beach, SALA Samui Chaweng Beach and SALA Samui Choengmon Beach have all replaced their plastic bathroom amenities with eco-friendly biodegradable versions, including combs and dental kits crafted from bamboo, shower caps, sanitary bags and shaving kits made using corn starch, shampoo and shower gel in ceramic containers, and paper wrapping for its soaps. Complimentary drinking water is also offered in glass bottles. This forms part of SALA’s deep commitment to preserving the planet.
